The Yoga of Listening
Communication & Listening to Build Trust & Stay Connected
Do you sometimes show up defensively, passively, or quick tempered when communicating and aren’t sure why? You may have unmet needs! Your nervous system may be in a disregulated state.
Join us September 23, 10 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. for an interactive, playful workshop to deepen your understanding of behaviors and strategies to get what you need and deepen connections.
Compassionate communication takes practice! What comes most easily to you: talking, sharing, guiding or listening, being present to non-verbal messages, pausing while another speaks?
Workshop content is based on my 25 years + communication practice, navigating parenting and partnering, the roots of yoga philosophy, the teachings of Non-Violent Communication, and listening on the street with Sidewalk Talk, a non-profit listening organization.
What to Expect:
Explore how you show up as a communicator (self assessment activity)
Discover correlation between your feelings and your unmet needs
Learn to express your needs and feelings with honesty
Explore benefits of empathy toward self and others
Develop honest expression & listening skills that build trust and connection
Experience the joy of connection through playful breakout room interaction
Once payment is confirmed, you will receive an email with the Zoom link.
